This piece shows the unintended consequences of war and the validation society uses to convince people to sacrifice their mental health. Capturing the hyper alert notion of PTSD through the ghost of desired actions and backed by the blood of the 'enemies' that stains his soul while being mocked by the purple heart he will never get for the wounds the war inflicted upon him.
